Had an amazing time at a hotel close to Broadway! LOVED the rooftop pool with my son. Staff were so helpful. Would definitely stay again! Photos don't do it justice.

My recent stay at the hotel was overall satisfactory, mainly due to the great location in Midtown West. However, the staff's unorganized and unwelcoming behavior, especially when it came to storing luggage, left a lot to be desired. With better staff training and improved customer service, this hotel has the potential to be a top choice for visitors to New York.

Great location but needs improvement in staff training

Possibly the best and great stay in well situated hotel. The location was incredible, around 10-15 minutes walk from Broadway Road.

The hotel is spotlessly clean and fairly large, has pretty friendly staff and best possible location near well stocked supermarket up on 9th av.

The grub was straight fire, with local veggies that were legend-wait for it-dary. Views from the 12th floor were lit, and walking distance to Times Square was clutch. Oh, and Jake's Saloon and Gotham Cafe nearby? Major foodie score! Cons: Room needed TLC, AC was a steamy mess, and parking was extra cash. Still, like a true New Yorker, this spot brought the flavor. Peace out!

Spotlessly clean place, air conditioned rooms, polite staff.

The venue is ideal and beautifully restored, its location is stunning, near to bars, restaurants, shops and sites, subway and Central Park and Times Square.

we stayed at the watson close to subways and central park. our room was spacious with a king-size bed, desk, and a chair. the 18th-floor view facing south offered a nice city view. the fitness center had everything needed. the staff was helpful and friendly, allowing us early check-in and late check-out, enhancing our experience. our family enjoyed the pool too.

That was contemporary hotel set in modern area. The staff members were all pleasant and polite. Fast check-in was a bonus. This was a wonderful stay, excellent prices.

The Watson Hotel's location is unbeatable, just 3 blocks from Central Park, and in the heart of Manhattan. The rooftop pool and sundeck provide a great retreat during the summer, and the blackout shades in the room really ensure privacy and a good night's sleep.

The hotel shows its age with tired decor, and the rooms could use better insulation to block out hallway and street noise. the pizza from the bar didn't quite impress, so I'd recommend exploring other dining options nearby.

Easy check-in at The Watson Hotel welcomed my 11-month-old granddaughter and I into a spacious and clean room with a lot of sunshine. The helpful staff promptly provided extra amenities when requested. The neighborhood was quiet and comfortable, plus the location allowed easy access to nearby landmarks like the New York Public Library and Central Park. The indoor swimming pool and cozy leisure room added relaxation to our family trip.

The room was functional and non-smoking with king size bed, we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Everything here was good, and the weather was warm sunny, loved it.

The location was spot-on - close to subway and tasty food spots, yet nestled in a peaceful spot for good z's; the room was super spacious and squeaky clean, gym and pool in the basement were a nice touch. Elevators did get a tad cramped at busy times, but that ain't no biggie - happens everywhere. 🏊‍♂️ The front desk guy aced managing our expectations tactfully. All in all, a solid stay with comfy beds, crisp linens, and a location that's tough to beat!

It is an old-fashioned property located in Manhattan district close enough to Times Square, Central Park. The buffet breakfast is above average with plenty of meals.

I enjoyed visiting the lobby's sports bar and wandering to nearby shops. a solid spot for my NYC adventure. And yes, I definitely made use of the USB charging port in the lamp!

Impressive event space with attentive staff. The hotel's strong personality endures, like a relic from the past. A great starting point for a NYC adventure. The rooftop pool is a refreshing oasis in the summer. Lots of sports memorabilia in the bar, as if that's what I go to NYC to see.

Mice ate my marathon snacks, ants joined me in bed, mold and broken AC embraced me. It's the charming, vintage Day's Inn experience, minus the marijuana-infused ventilation system.

During my transit in New York, I stayed at The Watson Hotel and found the location to be incredibly convenient for getting around the city. With easy access to the 50th St. Station and being close to LaGuardia Airport, it made my travel experience seamless and stress-free. the hotel's rooftop pool and sundeck provided a relaxing escape from the bustling city, offering a pleasant leisure option during my stay.

One minor issue I encountered during my stay at The Watson Hotel was the discovery of a forgotten pair of ladies underwear and a compress towel behind a chair in my room. Although this was a minor inconvenience, it did slightly detract from an otherwise pleasant experience.

Location is superb, staff excellent. Looking forward to returning for Pride.

I chose to visit Times Square and Bryant Park, and Watson pleasantly surprised me with its convenient location. The hotel's facilities and services, including the fitness center and outdoor pool, exceeded my expectations. Additionally, the proximity to fabulous shopping and a plethora of restaurants and pubs made my stay even more enjoyable.

Inconsistent A/C and water interruptions.

The Watson Hotel offers spaciousness, a modern lobby, and great views from the rooms. As vegetarians and vegans, we appreciated the wide selection of restaurants in the walkable area around the hotel.

Despite the affordable price, the rooms exceeded my expectations - they were clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious. The hotel lobby and lobby bar/restaurant were also impressive. The location was perfect, within walking distance to Lincoln Center and other upper West Side venues. There was also convenient parking nearby and a selection of places to grab snacks and a quick breakfast. A great stay overall!

The staff at this hotel were super friendly and helpful. Our room was always clean and tidy, and the cleaning staff were always accommodating and ready to assist us with anything we needed. The hotel offers a wide range of leisure options for guests, including a well-equipped gym. I was able to maintain my fitness routine during my stay, thanks to the modern exercise equipment and serene atmosphere. The gym was clean and comfortable, providing a refreshing space to unwind after a busy day of meetings and work commitments.

We explored New York on foot, by bus, subway, and airtran, all easily accessible from the hotel. The room we had was clean and decent, with a great view from the windows. We even had a queen size bed, which was a pleasant surprise. Plus, the prices were budget-friendly, perfect for a family trip.

The only minor issue we encountered during our stay was a slight delay during check-in. However, all was okay in the end.
